Having been in the mortgage industry since 1997, Monica has developed a strong foundation as an underwriting manager, currently serving at The Mortgage Warehouse. Her primary focus is to maintain the highest standards in underwriting quality, efficiency, compliance, and risk management.

Throughout her career, Monica has gained extensive knowledge in underwriting a wide range of mortgage loans, including FHA (DE), VA, Conventional, and USDA. Her proficiency extends to DU/DO, LPA, and GUS systems, and she has a proven track record of success in compliance and quality control reviews. Additionally, she is well-versed in TRID and regulatory compliance, and has dedicated time to training and mentoring new and existing underwriters, loan officers, and loan processors on industry best practices and guidelines.

Monica lives in Louisville with her husband.  She is an avid reader, enjoys learning new skills and is a certified “cat lady”.
